Above is a WW1 "Tanker Helmet" also known as a "Splatter Mask".It was primarily worn by tank gunners to protect their faces from incoming small arms fire and other things that were harmful especially to the face area. The reason for it being called a "splash" mask was because it protected the soldiers face from metal fragments(shrapnel) coming in through the holes in the tank.Source: https://www.warmuseum.ca/firstworldwar/objects-and-photos/equipment-and-vehicles/uniforms-and-personal-gear/tankers-helmet/?back=31&anchor=630
Above is a Small Box Respirator from WW1.The item was developed in late 1916.It was by far the most effective gas mask to be issued to the Allies during the war. With its small size,it was hard to breathe through it and was very uncomfortable to wear in combat. Even with those cons it protected against gases very well. The poisonous gas was inhaled by the user, then absorbed by other chemicals in the metal canister. The gas, which was absorbed allowed purified air to travel through the rubber hose into the facial area of the mask allowing the user to breathe good air.Lieutenant-Colonel Thain Wendell was one of many to wear this respirator and was awarded the Victoria Cross at the 1917 Battle of Vimy Ridge.https://www.warmuseum.ca/firstworldwar/objects-and-photos/equipment-and-vehicles/uniforms-and-personal-gear/small-box-respirator/?back=31&anchor=580
Above is a "Artillery Board" from WW1.Primarily used by gunners, the board was used to plot the range and bearing from the gunner to targets. In order to get the range and bearing, the gunner would put the board on a map, plot his target, then read the basic bearing and range to his target.https://www.warmuseum.ca/firstworldwar/objects-and-photos/weapons-and-ammunition/artillery-and-grenades/artillery-board/?back=806&anchor=834

Above is a "Field Surgery Kit".It was used for surgery on wounded soldiers during battle. It could be used mainly for removing bullets, shrapnel, and shell fragments, and suture the soldiers wounds. The whole kit and the tools inside would be placed in a canvas case, which would roll up,making it easier to transport on the battlefield.https://www.warmuseum.ca/firstworldwar/objects-and-photos/equipment-and-vehicles/medical-equipment/field-surgery-kit/?back=634&anchor=644
